Since 2011, The English Lab has been providing specialized coaching & training for those who use English at work and socially, and need to master the correct, confident and effective use of verb tenses, American pronunciation, parts of speech, syntax and idiomatic expressions.

2025 begins our 15th year of quality service in Puerto Rico, LATAM and USA. Our esteemed corporate customers include Amgen Manufacturing Ltd., Puerto Rico Supplies Group, L'Oréal Caribe, BOLD, Baxter Credit Union, CooperVision, CEMEX and Miss Universe Puerto Rico.

Courses are structured according to the student's level and goals as well as their industry and interests, providing real-life English language practice that includes casual and business conversation, listening, reading & writing projects, short presentations, lessons & quizzes.

Meet David Garcia

David is an experienced and effective English language coach with more than 20 years of experience. David has a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies, teacher certification and coursework completed toward a M.A. in TESOL. Since 2011, he has been directing The English Lab.

Prior to forming The English Lab, David was a business & conversational English program coordinator and teacher at the vocational, elementary, high school and college levels, regional ESL Specialist for Cambridge University Press and PR TESOL board member.
